Coming Up

Raising An Athlete – Sports Talk Series, with India Habitat Centre, is a face-to-face forum bringing together athletes, coaches, experts, parents, and young athletes for honest conversations about what it really takes to build a sporting journey.

Beyond training schedules and tournament results, we want to address the realities that shape young athletes - balancing not just sport and studies, but also managing financial pressures, bridging coaching and information gaps, understanding the mental and emotional side of the game, and making long-term development and career decisions. We put every challenge and opportunity on the table to discuss openly and constructively. The goal is simple - to build a stronger, more informed, and more connected junior and youth sports community in India.

ABOUT equalsportz

Equalsportz is a sports platform and community built to inspire, educate, and enable the next generation of Indian athletes — focused on children aged 5 to 18 and their parents.

Through structured, practical resources such as our upcoming All You Wanted To Know handbook series and our ongoing Raising an Athlete podcast, hosted by our founder Amita Malhotra, we work to bridge critical gaps in the Indian sporting ecosystem — especially for beginner and intermediate athletes. Our goal is simple: provide clear, credible pathways, whether a child aspires to compete at the highest level or pursue a career within the wider sports industry.

Our educational workshops and courses take a holistic view of sport development. Alongside technical training, we address essential areas such as sport psychology, fitness, nutrition, mindset, and long-term athlete growth - equipping both athletes and parents with practical, actionable knowledge.

We aim to reinvent junior sport in India through high-impact national tournaments and leagues that raise standards, create meaningful competitive exposure, and yet, are great fun.

By leveraging digital technology, Equalsportz is building a connected sporting ecosystem - bringing together young athletes, coaches, experts, sponsors, and brands onto one platform to create access, opportunity, and long-term support throughout the athlete journey.

  • SPORT LEAGUES & TOURNAMENTS

Junior tournament ecosystem is presently hyper-local. Most of these are poorly managed and hastIly put together. We see an opportunity to create high impact, competitive, and yet fun, sport tournaments, events and leagues.
